Delay when moving Objects

Hello everyone, I've been having a problem with Illustrator for a few weeks and I can't find a solution to the problem by trying around and using various forums. The following problem: When I try to move something, there is a delay before the object or text or whatever actually moves. If I just click on it and move it slightly, it suddenly hangs as if on the mouse pointer. I don't think I need to mention that this is super super annoying and time consuming when layouting. The only solution at the moment is to "touch" objects exactly at the displayed centre point and then they move again immediately as usual. Of course, this doesn't work with fonts etc. because there is no clear centre point.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have reset everything, reinstalled, etc., whatever you do.
