I don't know if this is the right place to post this. Is anyone able to tell me if this line/shadow effect is something I can do on Illustrator?

You mean the glowing red lines?

You could try with several strokes stacked onto each other in the Appearance panel.

One stroke just normal

One thicker stroke and has a Gaussian blur effect applied

Another one maybe a lighter color and overlaid on top using a "Screen" blending mode

File needs to be in RGB document color mode
