Details from pdf file change color before print?

Hi there people. I have a problem or more like something that i dont do right because im still learning... 
Anyway, the problem is : i want to make a card and print it. I have a .ai file from a friend of mine where i want to put a part of it in my card. 
Picture 1 : the original color from my friends .ai file.

Picture 2 is when i put it in my .ai file, convert in pdf, run it trough destiller and bam... the color is gray .... and the weight becomes white. Somehow i cant find anyting on the subject... Have been searching for 3 days now ...
