different WxH when opening the same file

When opening the same Illustrator file on two PCs here, they have different WxH size when clicking on a particular element in the file!

Both PCs have up to date illustrator installed through CC

Can you let me know how this might be?? and how we could change things so that both PCs see all elements the same?

I have included a screenshot with the 'problem' element selected, and the illustrator file

The one with the larger size has "Use Preview Bounds" turned on. It can be controlled in the Align Panel menu or Preferences General.

I have never knowingly turned "Use Preview Bounds" either on or off - could you tell me what it is used for?

Good to hear that helped.

It can be usefull to know the total size including the stroke weight or if a Transform effect is used, the total of the number of copies.

Here is the original Illustrator file, and a screenshot from each of our PC's highlighting the same element, showing different sizes
One has the bounding box visible, the other does not
I have checked all the relevant preferences that i can think of are set the same on both PC's
If there is anything else i can change/check, please do not hesitate to let me know
