Difficulty downloading illustrator onto mac osx yosemite

I have purchased illustrator for a month having used it successfully on my mac,now before

loading the message is reading (This computer does not meet the minimum system requirements for Illustrator CC. Please refer to the system requirements in the Help documentation for a full list of hardware and software requirements for Illustrator CC.)

Having looked at my computer systems all appears to be in place for the requirements indicated on the help page ?

    If you need Yosemite on your computer, then CC 2017 is as far as you can go. Adobe has not yet officially release the 2018 requirements, but they should be here when they update.

    Adobe Illustrator system requirements

    The main reason you need to update your OS is the new Opentype 1.8 which allows for variable type in the CC2018 suite.

    High Sierra still has a few issues you may encounter, so would preferablyrecommend updating to Sierra for now and wait a month once the bugs get worked out and a patch comes out.

    Variable opentype is going to be amazing, and what multiple master fonts should have been.

    mac OS version 10.13 (High Sierra), macOS version 10.12 (Sierra), or Mac OS X version 10.11 (El Capitan)

    Doug brings up an excellent point, that page is already updated they just call it CC2017 October instead of CC2018, so I missed that.
