Question

Discount please - while browser hiding glitch is foxed?

Hey.

What are the chances of Adobe offering a discount on the suite subscription until they manage to fix this browser hiding behind other programmes issue.

I mean, its been years now so theyre either not capable of fixing it or arent interested in doing so.

If the subscription was £10 cheaper I'd feel less annoyed with the bug.

Can an Adobe person respond please? Its a widespread issue.

Thanks

Dylan

For what it's worth... I have not seen this in Illustrator ever. Nor have I seen this related to any CC apps. But that is not discounting your experience. I beleive it happens.

However, I keep an old Mac around running CS6 apps and MacOS 10.14... guess what??? Photoshop CS6 "pops forward" at times on that older system. I beleive it's related to the OS or the app "auto-connecting" to a server somewhere (or trying to). When the connection fails, there's naturally a connection "error" athough it's not presented as an error to the user. The MacOS naturally brings "errors" forward and apps with errors always "pop forward".  The OS just isn't seeing the process, or the error, as "background" for whatever reason.

I don't use (refuse to use) the CC Libraries... and I wonder assuming that panel is part of a workspace, if a hiccup in the cloud connection to the libray is resulting in similar (silent) connection error... cauisng the "pop forward" behavior?

This is all PURELY speculation and guessing on my part.

Hello @Dylan Hewitt,

I can understand how troubling it might be to work with this problem in Illustrator. We have tried replicating this behavior on our end but have been unable to do so.

Would it be possible for you to have a debug session with us? If yes, please send me your Adobe ID, Country & Timezone, phone number with country code, and preferred dates and times between Mon- and Fri over a private message.
To send a private message, click my profile picture and use the 'Send a message' button.

I look forward to your response.

Hi there Anubhav

I've done that before and I know lots of others who have too.
It's definitely a tech issue that's not being addressed.

Is there no plan to fix the issue?

Thanks

D.

Can you go into some detail for those of us who don't know what you're describing?
