Distorted and Glitchy Screen

I got a new mac computer and ever since then as I work on files they get distorted and look sliced if I zoom out sometimes it will kind of fix it but it looks glitchy. I have uninstalled and reinstalled CC 2018 Illustrator multiple times and am always up to date. All my other programs and applications work just fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Try View>Preview on CPU.

    You can also turn off GPU Performance altogether. Click on the rocketship in Illustrator's top menu bar to access it.
