Your graphic card or its driver might not be fully compatible.

To follow up on @Monika Gause 's reply...

Find out the manufacturer of your video card, go to their website, and see if you can download/install a newer driver.

If that doesn't work, or if your video card is not supported by AI, you can turn off GPU performance under the preferences.

The latest version of Adobe software seems to be very sensitive to the driver version and card type/model.
