Does CS6 needs to be removed for Adobe CC trial.

Hi,

I've always used CS6, but now it's getting a little out of hand.

I want to try the new Ai but I have my CS6 installed. Does anyone recommend I uninstall my CS6 Ai and then use the trial?

Actually, when I'm uninstalling CS6, can I do individual programs or does the whole Suite get uninstalled?

Read this carefully, it's very important. You don't have to remove CS6. BUT, the moment you install CC, whether for a free trial or for a subscription, it TAKES OVER the licensing for CS6. If you don't subscribe, CS6 WILL STOP WORKING.

So, you can do this. But be VERY sure you have the serial number and the installer for CS6 safe. And there remains the risk that your CS6 supplier sold you a fake, in which case reinstalling may never be possible. So, yes, there is a real disk that CS6 will never run again.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. You do not need to uninstall CS6 in order to use the trial of CC Apps. You may have both versions simultaneously.  Please click on https://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator/free-trial-download.html to install the trial of Adobe Illustrator. Hope it helps.
