Double click to get inside clipping group

Since yesterday a regular feature is now gone. I have a clip group on a layer. I want to edit some of the objects inside the clip group. I used to be able to double click the clipping group and go inside isolation mode. Isolation mode is now gone. When I double click the clip group, nothing happens.

Mine didn't work either, and the option was checked in preferences. I finally figured out that: yesterday I plugged a mouse on my computer and changed the double-clicking speed in my preferences (mac preferences). SO my double click didn't work anymore on illustrator! I went to mac preferences > Mouse > Double clicking speed > set it back to middle. And now everything is back to normal. Maybe it'll help someone else.

I don't understand where in the settings to disable it? Please make screenshots how to do it.

Preferences > General

The preferences are either in the Illustrator menu (Mac OS) or in the Edit menu (Windows). Next time please tell us which system you're on.
