Hello All,

I have no idea how to fill my background color in this first layer. Can anyone help me to solve this problem.

THere is no background color. If you want something in the background, create a rectangle and fill it with color.

There is no Background Layer in Ai, the Layer in Ai represents object.  That is different from Ps.

When you move Layer in PS you move object

When you move object in Ai you move object

Douglas, If you wish to have an overall (non selectable) background colour, you may use File>Document Setup>Transparency>Simulate Colored Paper.

But expect colors to look kind of weird on top of it. And you won't even see white objects.
