Draw Inside- Unable to Re-draw inside or Move object

Hey, I was having difficulties keeping my inserted image within the confines of the shape that I created, so I decided to delete them and try again. However, I am unable to try drawing and I can't move my object.

this is a time sensitive question, so I would appreciate any help.

Hannah,

It will help helpers if you can show one or more screenshots with the Insert Photos button (fifth from the right in the top bar of the reply box), with the/each troublesome object selected along with the expanded Layer and the Appearance panel, and maybe more later.
