Drawing to scale?

Where can I find a simple, free, and/or reasonably priced plugin to set up drawings to scale in AI 2022?

(e.g. 1/4" = 1'-0", 1:10, 1:50, etc)

This feature is so simple and useful that I find it quite surprising it hasn't been a feature of Illustrator since the very beginning.

Illustrator is an illustration program not a drafting program like Autocad.

You can purchase CAD tool plugins that allow you to draw in scale like Hot Door.
