Dumb Down Using Gradient Font

Question

Wow!Banging my head against the wall trying change the color of the font to a Gradient. This has to be near the top of the least intutive processes I have experienced in several years. However, only after watching Monika's video from a couple years ago was I able to complete the task.Thanks Monika.
