Hello @swapnil_16,

Thanks for reaching out. Would you mind trying the following suggestions and let us know if it helps?

First, go to Object > Create Trim Marks to add trim marks to your artwork.

With the trim marks selected, go to Object > Expand Appearance. This will convert the trim marks into editable paths.

Once expanded, the trim marks become regular paths. You can now adjust the stroke width:
Go to the Stroke panel (if not visible, go to Window > Stroke).
Increase or decrease the stroke weight as needed.

If the trim marks are part of a group, you may need to ungroup them before making changes. To do so, go to Object > Ungroup.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Hey Anubhav,

Thanks for your quick reply.
My issue is a little different, I want the trim mark line length should be around 5 mm, which is by default 12.7 mm.
When you go to Object > Create Trim Marks to add trim marks to your artwork then that length is fixed by 12.7mm.

And I can't edit the same thing on every file as per your suggestion because it will be time-consuming.

I want to change the default size from 12.7 to 5 mm

Hope you understand the issue.

Thanks

Hello @swapnil_16,

Thanks for sharing the details. It is not possible to change the default for this.

However, you can create a new document with your preferred settings and use it as a template.

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,
Anubhav
