Editable PDF Problems - Long load time + NO editable text

I have an editable PDF that I use every time I send an invoice to my design clients - I used it two weeks ago and it worked perfectly fine. This time when I opened it in Illustrator (.pdf) it took a while to load and then once it finally opened, none of the editable text appeared. Please let me know if you have a solution or are having this problem as well. ------ If you would like the file please let me know, I am hesistant to share because of client names / dollar amounts

Hello @austinh14858356,

Would you mind providing some details about the circumstances under which these files were saved or edited, and the location of the files where they were stored? For example, were there any unexpected Illustrator crashes, sudden app closures, system shutdowns, or power cuts during the editing process?

 

Also, kindly share a link to a sample file after uploading to Dropbox/Google Drive/etc, so we can check it on our end.
