Editing EPS files

Hello. I would like to ask you the following question. I need software for simple editing of EPS files - cutting, moving, etc. Is this only possible in Adobe Illustrator ? Or is there a more budget solution like the Elements package or another adobe app ?

    Where do those EPS files come from?

    If they are the pure generic EPS, then edit them with any vector app. But if they are the type of EPS that have an AI file embedded in them that contains some better editable artwork, then you might still want to use Illustrator for editing.

    There's a million non-Adobe apps out there like Inkscape or FreeCAD that can do the kind of vector editing you seem to need. No need to pay anything to anyone. You may want to investigate the matter a bit more with a generic web search.
