Elements of Menu and ability to resize window not responding

Last week it was that I couldn’t select anything in the manin menu. It was just frozen. I did an update and now the menu is somewhat accessable— but I cannot manually resize a window, and while the drop menus open… nothing responds. If I say close, save, copy, paste, anything. The main menu is diabled and only looks like it is working.

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind trying to reset Illustrator's preferences as described in this article (https://adobe.ly/3TTEzDs) and checking if it helps?

 

Disclaimer: Please note that renaming preferences folders will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also save a backup of the folders in case you want to. The location is mentioned above.



If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/3SkcRhK), so we can investigate this further.
