Enter / Return key stopped working in panels since Illustrator 2023

Question

I have made the mistake and installed the new Illustrator verison 2023. Now, when i try to hit enter or return in a panel to apply a new stroke value for example, nothing happens. Has somebody experienced something similiar and fixed it?

Please dont tell me to reset the preferences again. Every time a new update comes out I have to redo my preferences and personalized keyboard shortcuts in every Adobe app. Why allow personalization in the first place when it seems to cause problems every single time or its not even transfered from the old version to the new after an update.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the issue details. We are aware of this issue, and the product team is currently working on a fix, and resetting preferences will not be required. I would request you, please be patient and stay tuned for the next update.

I am using Illustrator 27.0 on a iMac 5k 2020 with Big Sur 11.5.2 btw
