Envelope distort a pattern | White lines

Hi

I am trying to warp a pattern on arc using the Envelope Distort tool, but when I do I get white lines.

Any advice?

Have you tried switching from GPU to CPU or vice versa? Ctrl+E Windows or Option + E Mac

No I hadn't, but I have now and it does make any difference.

The lines remain when I export to PDF and PSD too! I have now learnt I can export as a TIFF and this seems to work.
