Eraser tool, pen tool lagging and stucking when using Pen Stylus

hi,

could someone help me figure what happen with my Adobe Illustrator?

I use lenovo duet 7i with stylus.

 

so some tools not working so well when i use it with stylus.

it's like first go well when i use it then cursor not moving.

i realize when using Eraser tool, pen tool and selection tools. but it's really work well when i use blob brush and paint brush. thank you

    First I'd check the stylys hardware. Are there system extensions like "digital ink" so that the stylus may be used to type (This can sometimes negatively affect graphics programs since the computer firds needs to process it you are writing something or some gesture that the OS is to process. Switching between this kind of OS process and an Application often causes erratic behaviour).

    Is the computer using shared memory for RAM and VRAM? Does it have an effect to use GPU preview instead? Is it less frequent if you view in outline mode? Could be that the computer is not ready to recieve new information. How much memory do you have is the lagg more frequent if you have more applications open and/or more complex art.

    Sorry no straight answers only things I know I could trouble shoot. These are hardest problems because they could be hardware, Operating system, Driver or system extension or lastly the application itself.
