I have Illustrator 2025, the latest version. When importing images from my computer, they become corrupted and the files become damaged. When exporting as a PNG or JPG, the file looks like the shared image.

Thanks for confirming. Could you try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (macOS) and checking if it helps? Also, if you're using an external monitor, try disconnecting it or switch to a different connection port/wire and share your observations.

Additionally, a screen recording of your entire workflow, along with the system report (https://adobe.ly/4iq0PhB) could help me check this further with the product team.
