Error when using 3D in Illustrator 25.8 on macOS12.7.4 Unknown error [Clr?]

working with 3-d materials and i keep getting this weird error message. ive attached images of my os and im on illustrator 25.8 was on the latest version but downgraded hoping it would fix said error. im stumped. helpppp please

16 GB of RAM is not sufficient for 3D & materials.

it was working fine yesterday then i closed the project and opened later in the day and thats when the error popped up

Reboot the computer.

Launch no other app than Illustrator. Not even your browser. Try again.

But anyway: you need more RAM.
