hi, i have a problem with a file. I have saved a work and when I tried to re-enter to illustrator it tells me that the file is in an unknown format. How do you fix it?

Sorry to hear about this trouble. Please try the suggestions shared by Michele. If that doesn't help, we can take a look and see if the file can be repaired. Please email your file to file@adobe.com & we will take a look at the file.
I must also inform you that file recovery can't be guaranteed with a 100% success. We'll surely try our best.
