Evenly distribute lines inside object?

Question

I am working on a logo concept for a siding company and I would like to evenly distribute the red lines into the right side of the object (So it kind of looks like siding on a house) but I'm not sure how to do that. I know about the "Distribute Spacing" option but it doesn't align the lines so that theres even space between the bottom and top of the object and the lines. It looks like its missing a line or two. I understand I'll have to induvidually adjust the size of each line so that it reaches the sides of the objects but thats all good. Any help appreciated!!

As I (mis)understand it, you may like a Blend based on the top and bottom of the right side:

1) First (re)create the horizontal bottom line (you can ClickDrag with the Line Segment Tool from midline to edge), then make the slanting top line in the same way (and direction);

2) Select both and set the Object>Blend Options to Specified Steps using the number of intermediate steps, then Object>Blend>Make;

3) If you only need the intermediate lines (most likely), you can Object>Blend>Expand to have simple paths (in a Group), then delete the unwanted (original) ones.
