Exit Isolation Mode/Groups in Stages

Okay this is a tough one to explain, and it might be such a silly question but I've been using AI for too long to see it lol:

 

Let's say I have a group (L1) within a group (L2) within a group (L3).

 

If I am on L0 and want to get to L3, I can double-click my way in 3 times. Is there a way to get from L3 to L2 without going back to L0 (ESC) and back in?

 

Hope this super strange writing format gets the question across.

Lol i'll try. So I want to edit the brown group, and then edit the green group without having to exit back to the base and going in through blue. I doubt I am making any sense haha
