Export a pdf with colored layers to view but lighter layers to print

I have a curriculum done on Illustrator. Some layers are massive colored pictures or layouts. I created ligther layers that I let invisible. I want to export a pdf that allows people to see the full colored version but print with the lighter layers. I use Illustrator 28.1 version and when I try to save as pdf, I don't have printing options, or such things. Does someone knows how do that ?

Optional Content Groups are a way to show or hide content in a PDF. When Illustrator layers are included when the PDF is saved, these OCG's are created.

You would need to set them up as layers. But then people need to switch that in their Acrobat before printing. Do you think that will work?
