Export and Import presets between adobe apps

Hello community,

Is it posible to transfer presets (like export and import presets, shortcuts or working spaces...) from one computer to another one?

There is Edit > My settings > Export respectively Import.

This also considers your libraries, such as custom brushes or swatches

I'll add it. Not all settings are transferred when exporting. for example, performance, devices and some other items still need to be checked and adjusted to your preferences

Here are the locations where you can find Illustrator's settings: https://www.vektorgarten.de/illustrator-settings.html

Most of them are just text documents.

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, it is possible to transfer presets, shortcuts, or workspaces from one computer to another. You’ll need to manually transfer the preferences files from the following locations:

For Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator <version> Settings
For Windows: %AppData%\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator <version> Settings

Copy these files to the same location on the new computer, and your settings should be transferred.
