export BMP with more than 2400ppi

Hello,

is there any possibilty to export BMPs from Illustrator higher than 2400ppi? I really need very high resolution bitmaps. May it be with a plug-in or a script or anything else.

Not as you describe. But what exactly are you exporting and why? What are the absolute W x H dimensions you need to achieve?

The dimensions are various. Let's say I have a vector graphic in 40x40mm. Then I need this as a 40x40mm bitmap but in 4000dpi.

This example would be 6299 px square. In this instance I would export that, then set the PPI in Photoshop.
