Question

Export Bug

Hi there!

Just wanted to bring up that I'm experiencing an export issue.

Long story short, on an artboard with the images linked as a .psd (dropshadow on the psd file), the exported image of the products exports at 72dpi with a smooth edge.

On a different artboard (export settings exactly the same), however the same image has a dropshadow added WITHIN illustrator and is exporting with a jagged edge.

Why is this so? Please help!

What are your Document Raster Effects Resolution Settings in Illustrator?

My document Raster Effects Resolution settings are set at 300dpi!

What's weird is when I export the artboard as a "Save For Web" way, the image exports smoothly (regardless if there's an effect from illustrator applied to the .psd file). However any other way it exports jagged.

What are your export settings? File format and anti-aliasing?

Do you use Export As or Export for Screens?

Are the images rotated (there are problems with that)?
