Export in PDF with a layer using background color, transparency and multiply effect

Hi all !

I have imported a PDF where I wanted to chaneg the overall background color.

It was easy using a rectangle and the transparency window with Multiply as effect.


I just wanted to export it in PDF so I can print it but when I export it, it only show the red pages without other layers while in Illustrator, it shows fine !

 

Possible to export it as I see it in Illustrator ?

Please tell us exactly what you did in Illustrator. Please show us the layers panel with all the content in it.

Then please tell us exactly how you exported the PDF.

This is a screenshot from Acrobat, right?

Here are the layers panel 

 

I have just use the "Save as" option, select PDF and "High quality print" options".

The rectangle multiplies, but there's also something applied to the pages. Can you please target one of them and show the appearance panel? To target them, click on the circle in the Layers panel.
