Export picture as png with border

Hello,

I made this in Illustrator:

 

 

When I export this as png and paste it in my illustrator the border of the paper are not visible.

 

 

How can I make the border visible, when I export this as png?

Those are presumably artboards? Do you want to end up with white 'paper' behind the lines, and transparency elsewhere?

 

Artboards define the document size; they are not objects themselves. You will need to create rectangles the same size as each artboard and then export.
