Exported JPG size is not precise

I am trying to export an illustration created in Illustrator. It is created with centimeters as unit for size. When I export as a JPG file and check the image size in Photoshop the dimensions are not the same. For example: If I create 60cm x 60 cm illustration and export as JPG as 150 dpi, the image size is shown as 60.01 cm x 60.01 cm. I need the dimensions to be precise as the image will be repeated as a pattern. How can I fix this problem?

Thanks!

When you want to export your artwork as an image, always check your dimansions and position in pixels.

If the XY coordinates or your objects contain fractional values, there is a big chance that extra pixels are added on export (because fractional pixels don't exist).

Another thing that may add extra pixels is the use of ppi like 150 or 300.

Illustrator works better with multiples of 72 ppi like 144 and 288.

pixels don't round perfectly into real measurements, if you're defining something in pixels per inch and then requiring a document to be defined in cm.

making it 60 px/cm gets pretty close to 150 ppi. that's a 3600 px square, which is a nice round number to work with.

I have the same problem while exporting .jpg (in px) it add a pixel on each side. I have artboards of 600px by 600 px in 300DPI and when I export or save my images are 2501px X 2501px, it is impossible to make repeat pattern this way, there is a white line in all my proof fabric.

When I tried in Inches in Illustrator the artboard was 8.333 in X 8.333 in and exported as 8.337in X 8.337in...

Is there another way to set my artboard (I did try ppt and In... and was not better) or anything I can do to make it work?

Thanks

Set it up in 2500x2500 pixels and then export at 72 ppi.
