Question

Exporting as PNG issues

I am creating badges earned within a health and wellness software.  I have one AI file with about 40 different layers, each containing a different badge.  They have all been sized and centered within the art board exactly the same, but when I export them as PNGs some export slightly bigger than others and when I view them in a preview window some appear off center.  Does anyone know why this is happening?  I am completely stumped.

I have also saved them as SVGs and the SVGs all appear to be exactly the same size.  It is only the PNGs that I am having trouble with.

Is the artboard and the artwork aligned to the pixel grid?

But even if it is, Illustrator might add a pixel on the edge when exporting.

Can you please be more preicse as to what exactly happens?

Have you opened the PNGs in Photoshop to check the details?
