Exporting SVG Files in Illustrator Crashes

Question

Whenever I export a selection in Illustrator as an SVG, it crashes every time. I can export for screens just fine. It's not until I make a selection that it crashes. Just curious if anyone else has this issue.

I've tried updating it and uninstalling/reinstalling it, but it hasn't resolved the issue.

Could you please confirm which version of Illustrator you're using and your operating system details? Does this happen with all files or only specific ones? Also, do you see the Adobe crash report dialog box when the crash occurs? I checked for any reports linked to your community email but didn't find any so far.
