Exporting SVG Illustrator for iPad issue w/ text

I'm trying to export a logo design and I'm using the iPad app. I have text on a path and I notice it's distorting when I try to export as an SVG. All other files types saved fine. I've seen suggested to 'expand' or conver text to path but I cannot seem to be able to do so!

Please help!!! I'm on crunch time!
