Extend a line

Hello,

before the last update, when I wanted to extend a line in its continuity in any direction, a guide would appear, allowing me to know that I was maintaining the base direction of the line I wanted to extend. Since the update, this guide doesn't appear anymore. I haven't found any online help for this issue. Could a hero help me out?
