In this work 3D plant is made by a complicated method. I cannot understand why this method is used. Because 3D is simply made by using Extrude & Bevel tool. Can you understand the reason?

So if you need a pure vector solution, it's a no-go.
On top of that, your result doesn't look the same
And then also: that video is overcomplicated. With better preparation that would be a matter of seconds, not minutes.
