Favourited Fonts Deleted After Updating to Illustrator 2025

I downloaded Illustrator 2025 and deleted the 2024 version, only to realise that my favourited fonts had not carried over to the new version. I tried to redownload the 2024 version but could not find it. Does anyone know how I can restore my favourited fonts? I had spent a lot of time curating them and I would be upset to lose all that effort.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the explanation, but surely there must be a way to improve this. It’d be so much better if font favourites were synced across apps via Creative Cloud, similar to how libraries work. Then users wouldn’t have to redo everything every time preferences are reset, or when switching between apps. Even a centralised spot in the Creative Cloud desktop app for managing favourites would help a lot. Do you know if there are any plans for Adobe to make this process easier and more consistent across the suite? I would post it in the suggested features but I know that that is basically just screaming into the void, as they never acknowledge or respond even to suggestions with thousands of upvotes.

Just to add to this, I managed to download the old version of Illustrator yet my favourited fonts are still missing.

Illustrator does not longer support PostScript T1 fonts. So if those are PS fonts, then that is over.

You can no longer get a version of Illustrator that supports those fonts.

To clarify, it was not just PS fonts, it was all my favourited fonts. Plenty of them are still available on Adobe Fonts and I can see them in Illustrator, but they have all been removed from "Favourites"
