Feature Request: Synchronous Collaboration on Cloud Documents in Illustrator

In an Adobe article about cloud collaborating in illustrator, it is stated: "Currently, Illustrator provides asynchronous editing where each collaborator can edit a shared cloud document one at a time.".

An example of a synchronous workflow is in google docs, when you invite somebody and you can all work on the same document at the same time, live.

I want to know, do we currently have any good thoughts about the "if", "why not" and "why", and if anyone can decide when illustrator will make the leap from an asynchronous to synchronous workflow if so?

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out. As of now, there is no official word about this. However, I will pass on your request to the Product team, and you could do that too by sharing it on our UserVoice page (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/). This way, you will keep getting all the updates related to this request, and other users can also upvote.

Thanks and Regards,

It's not likely to happen any time soon, if ever. It would be a massive total reengineering. Google Docs was written to work this way from scratch.
