File names of linked images

I am a CC user. on Windows 10 using Illustrator 25.3.1 (64-bit). I have a large number of artbords with between 5 and 10 image (jpg) collages. How do I see the file names of the linked files in Illustrator.

I have a number of collections that I need to change some or all of the file nemes. Is there a way to do this automatically.

Do you have experience with JavaScript?

Are there unequivocal renaming conventions?

Names can be seen in the Links panel.

You cannot change a name of a linked file outside Illustrator without relinking them.

You could embed them and then unembed them and save a duplicate with a new name.
