File New > No options to set up document

First off, why am I posting an issue on a form? Why isn't there an email address or phone number to talk to an adobe tech directly? I couldnt find one - beyond frustrated!

Issue*

When I hit File New when I'm in AI, I get a text box that is missing 90% of the info in it. I don't have options for any settings. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it and it's still doing this. Anyone else experiencing this? What can I do?

    Taking a shot in the dark here but...did you try disabling the GPU?

      Thanks for the idea Michael.

      I unchecked the GPU box, clicked OK and exited the software. Re-opened the software and still have the same issue.....

      Does anyone from adobe look at these forums? Can you please contact me and log into my computer to see what's going on here? I can't do my job w/o this software working.

      You can try Customer Care via this form:

      Contact Customer Care

      They can log into your system.

      And how does one get a Customer Care rep to log into your system? I've clicked your link 3 times and it brings me back only to re-post on a forum again. I can't figure it out.

      This is beyond aggravating they can't simply supply a phone number or email address to contact them directly.

      You will need to be logged into your Adobe ID.

      Select the app.

      Scroll down the page until you get to the "Other options". There should be a possiblity to chat with someone.

      If you don't get that? Are you perhaps on a Team version of the Creative Cloud?
