file that's not opening

hi,

I had a file that i renamed and now it's not opening.. It says that is unknown and cannonot be opened.

help please..

Just renaming a file should not give a problem. Did you chang the extension or use special characters in the name? What happens if you use the old name?

Where did you save the file?

i renamed it as it was but nothing happened..

i saved in usb to have the file for my univesity..

the file is .ai but i dont know.. Should i drop the file here ?

A usb drive is not very reliable. You may try to share it to see if one of us can open the file.

You can try WeTransfer, Google drive, DropBox, CC filesharing or similar to share the file.
