Font Choice Box Won't Autofill

I'm not sure if I'm using the right language to describe my problem, but I'll do the best I can. When trying to change fonts, I typically go to the top where the font selection box is located and start typing the font name. Up until yesterday, as I typed, a drop down box would appear with all the fonts I have containing those letters. However, randomly yesterday, it just decided not to do that anymore. I can still type in the box and get to my font, but the drop down never shows which is terribly inconvenient. I don't believe I changed any settings as I was in the middle of a task when it just stopped working. I have shut down and restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Ai CC, and checked for updates (I'm completely updated).
