font choices drop down not working

fonts do not show up in drop down menu and when I type in font names many are not listed...CAN NOT WORK with this problem, need full font choices!!

First check if you have the newest version of Illustrator CC 2019, release 23.0.1, which was a bug fix released a little over a week ago.

There are few switches button in the menu font drop down menu like “favorite fonts” ... , make sure none of these switches are turned on.

nope, I don't even see those switches...just know always had all my fonts show up as choices in font drop down...now none show up
