Font Issue

Hello, I'm using 2019 27inch iMac - Os ventura 13.1.

A font(Language - Bengali) from Internet that I installed on Fontbook is not properly working on Illustrator.

As you can see below the font famliy(Sulekha T) is showing on Illustrator font list, but when I try to change the font style to Sulekha the type is broken. Could someone can help me to fix this problem?

You might want to contact the people who made this font. Does it work at all?

The funny thing is that the font is working on one of my friends computer...

And that is a Mac as well? Same operating system?

Fonts can also go corrupt or be a different version.

 

Illustrator is very peculiar about fonts. When they are not 150% OK, it just won't like them.
