fonts look like hieroglyphs

Can anyone help me solve this problem? I open a pdf file in Illustrator, but the fonts look like hieroglyphs. I will add that I uploaded the fonts needed to open this file to my computer. I don't know what this problem could be anymore.

Illustrator is not a general purpose PDF editor. Which means you might even never be able to solve this.

Is "Missing glyph protection" turned on in the preferences?

WHich font is it? Is it a PostScript Type 1 font?

Which system is it?

Which language is it?
