Fractal glass design in illustrator for printing

Question

Hi, I need to get this gradient printed for booth wall design including the ribbed glass texture, working on a CMYK file is not bringing out the colour vibrancy for this, how do I make sure the gradient looks bright?

And what is the case here if I use spot colours, do printers needs to have special printers for spot colours ?

Stuck on getting the right bright colour range, help out!!

Do you know what kind of printer and large format RIP application is being used to output the job? Printers that have extra ink colors, such as light cyan and light magenta in addition to the usual CMYK colors can print a wider gamut range. The RIP application can take a RGB-based image and try to do its best to output it using those six colors. But the process works only so well. It's impossible for any printer to output the entire RGB color range. Bright cyans and purples can be especially hard to print. If it's possible to do a small test print it would be worth trying to see how the original RGB image prints.

Regarding spot colors, most large format printers that use spot color inks do so for special purposes rather than to make the colors in an image more vibrant. Often white ink is incorporated with other inks as a spot color so layers of white and color can be "sandwiched" for prints that will be backlit. Metallic and fluorescent inks are other spot color choices.
