Scaling option don't work in Illustrator 2020, macOS Catalina.

I scale object with E then holding Shift scale it, to keep proportions.

How make Free transform tool to work in Illustrator 2020?

Okay, aside from "don't work," your original post didn't really describe the problem, and seemed to suggest that there's a universal problem we all need to solve, but that's not the case. Free Transform works as designed on my systems and any system in which there's no other malfunction. Seeing your video causes me to suspect something is wrong in your system outside of Illustrator; e.g., an input device driver needs update. But even so, with any Illustrator issue, the first thing to try is a reset of preferences. Have you done that?

Hi.

The following is the correct order to keep the proportions:

First, start dragging from the corner, then press the shift key. When you reach the desired scale, release the shift key, then release the mouse button.

I'm not newbie in Illustrator. In older version I didn't have problem with scaling.
