Freeform gradients not exporting in PDF

So, all freeform gradients don't show up when I export it as a PDF. The .ai files also don't show freeform gradients when they're seen in quicklook in a mac.

They do export if I push as png.

Anyone else having this issue?

How do you view the PDF? Does it show in Acrobat?

For the PDF this could merely be an issue with not having the proper flattening settings in the PDF preset, so check that.
